Can humans get worms from puppies?
A week ago I bought a puppy. When I got it home, I realized it had worms. Today, my neighbor (who has worked in a pet store for years) said the puppy has parvo. My son found some puppy poop on the floor and ate some before I could clean it up. What can happen to my son?

Take a stool sample to the vet to find out what worms the pup has. Humans can get the same worms but it will take weeks for symptoms to develop and for the human feces to test positive for worms. If the puppy has parvovirus, it needs 24/7 hospitalization if it is to have a chance at survival.

i went to the bathroom and saw a longgg slimy thing in my poop. its quite thin and white, just like a long thing of slime but dsnt separate.

my dog pooped on my floor! eww, anyways i went to clean it up and i seen these flat white worms in there!!!!…. how do i get rid of those.. and can humans catch it?? and how the heck do they even catch them!??!

You’ll need to get Drontal or Droncit Plus from your Vet. Yes, people can get tapeworm and your dog got tapeworm from FLEAS. That is an issue you will also have to address. Just sanitize properly and use common hygiene practices.

Paging Dr. House: I have a worm in my poop!?
I was just going to the bathroom and found a single tiny, white (but not transparent) worm about 3mm long in my feces. After doing some research, it said pinworms were common in humans, but it said a symptom was an itchy anus and my anus is not itchy. What is it? I’m afraid to tell my mom, its so embarrassing and she’ll freak out. One more thing– I have a one year old puppy. She’s gotten all her shots and all her stool tests come back negative, but did I get the worm from her? Does this need medicine? How urgent/bad is this??

It not serious but you should still go see a doctor to get it treated. It could lay eggs if there is still any left with in you. If you seem to begin to itch don’t itch. You make get eggs under your finger nail and transfer it to other members of the family.
Do not be embarrassed. Shes your mother and only want to take care of you.
